We still cann't make up our minds what we think of the Capek appartment. Very welcoming hostes, though no reception. Room wasn't bad, furniture looked 2 years old, though it all looked it lacked maintenance (yellow tiles in the bathroom and lime al over the showerhead). Because of the mezzanine the bed needed to be low so the mattresses lay directly on the floor. The rooms looks good but lacks decorations, it is specious enough is overall a pleasant stay althoug it lacks refinement and has more potentional. A big downer is the tree trash containers that are standing in the corridor just be hind the main entrance.

Booked Capek but was upgraded to Janek on arrival which was a lovely surprise. Apartment is very well equiped, bathroom toilet extremely clean and seemed to be newly decorated. Apartment in good location, I stayed during the week but very little noise at night and accomodation very secure and safe. Anna was very welcoming and helpful and arranged transport to and from airport which was an excellent service. She was also very helpful with directions and where and how to use the trams and metro. Only downside one of the bedsheets had stains on.

We stayed at the Janek for 2 nights in August and loved it. The hot water would cut out after 2 minutes so you would have to run and turn the boiler on and off constantly which was frustrating but apart from that the apartment was very good value for money. The Old Town is about a 20 minute walk away and the main station just 10 minutes or yu could easily get a tram. We would definitely stay here again and maybe get a bigger room with friends.

Stayed at the Janek for three nights and found it excellent - only problem was lack of hot water one day which seems to be an ongoing problem. Anna very helpfuly with tourist information. Location within lengthy walk or tram. Excellent value and would stay again.

Art Residence Prague - The accommodation is excelent and I would recommend to anyone who don't mind taking a tram to downtown. I love it and will for sure come back again!

Janak apartment is really a great apartment, very beautiful with stylish decoration and it is spacious, which can accoummodate 4 persons. There are plenty of facilities,e.g. washing machines, washing powder, stove, kitchen tools,for your daily use. The lovely girl who met us on the first day is very nice and give us details introduction not only to the apartment but also the tourist information of Prague, really really good service!! However, it is not very convenient to reach as we need to take metro first then change to tram and no large supermarket nearby. For the facilities of the apartment, there are no TV and phones, without the TV, we cannot have a relaxing time watching the TV programs with coffee or tea. Overall, my impression for this apartment is Very good as I stay there for my last night in Prague and we know how to handle the traffic to the apartment.

We stayed in the Janak Apartment. It was great, clean and spacious. Anna, the contact person, was very nice, especially we had changed our meeting time several times as we would like to do some tours outside Prague and missed our bus to come back. What might not be good is that you have to walk up a little slope in order to reach the apartment. So, it might not be very convenient if you have heavy luggages with you.

The unit was excellent. Contact person was very pleasant and helpful. It would be nice if the apt had a telephone or at least a pay phone for us who do not have mobile phones.

The apartment was nicely furnished and the staff waited even though our flight was delayed quite significantly. WE did experience problems with the hot water system which cut out a few times, we contacted the agent but sadly the problem was not really addressed properly. As there was no grill or oven in the apartment I think a toaster would be useful addition. Finally, as our flight was a quite a late one I thing a courtesy pack of bread, milk, tea, coffee would have been a nice touch

We stayed in the Janak Apartment. Very clean, well equiped. Anna was very welcoming and told us how to get to the various sights by tram. She also informed us of this great restaurant/music bar just around the corner (kure v hodinkach). Tram stop down the road, everything perfect for our stay.

Fantastic, clean and comfortable accomodation. We booked Capek appartment but were delighted to be upgraded to Mucha on arrival. Anna was extremely helpful and gave us a lot of information, recommendations and directions to ammenities we may need.City centre was easy to access, but lots of great places to eat and drink locally. Had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again in the near future.Would recommend anyone looking for an exceptional and reasonably priced place to stay to visit here.

Gutfreund-Great and spacious apartment for 6 middleaged male persons looking for a good time in Prague. Very easy access downtown with the tram nr 9 and nr 5 or 26 back.

We booked the Gutfreund Appartment for Christmas and it was great! The owner was very friendly and satisfied our special requests. It is just pity that they started to construct a new bathroom in the living room... Very nice Christmas.

The Capek accommodation is great! Good price too... very well equiped.

Accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. We had booked the Janek apartment, but had been upgraded to the Mucha on our arrival. Was a lovely surprise and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Anna greeted us and she was very friendly and helpful, and full of advice and information. Would highly recommend staying here, the tram is just at the bottom of the hill and takes you straight into the centre of things, or walk in, it only takes 15 minutes and is a straight road the whole way. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit. Thanks again.

We stayed in the Mucha appartment which was good value for money, clean with comfortable beds. Easy access by Tram network or circa 15mins to centre if walking. No complaints at all but could perhaps do with a mirror other than just the bathroom one.

we spent our Honeymoon in the Janak apartment which was really nice and clean and in a great location just outside the city centre. the cost for the apartment was well worth what we paid.

Mucha Appt: Top banana. Attractive appartment, extremely... comfortable furniture. Spacious and well furnished. Walking distance (10 mins) from city centre and Old Town square etc, alternatively, tram stop less than one minutes stroll from the front door (trams are abundant). Hosts a plesant selection of bars and restaurants in the locality. The wet room is... utterly sublime. In summation, appartment, stylish, clean, great value for money, reasonable locále. A fun time had by all. Bargain.

We stayed for 5 days at the Janak apartment, which was a great place. Excellent value for money, well-located, clean and generally nice. The owners were very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommened the place.

Accomodation clean and well located. Owner very helpful (booked return taxi for us). Shower was difficult to use as there was no wall fixing to hold the head. This could be easily and cheaply rectified. My wife would have liked more storage and a full length mirror. Would recommend the accomodation to friends and family.

Mucha apartment - the apartment was great, all very new, spacious, clean and spotless (although posters not yet on the walls and a few finshing touches to go). Comfortable beds and sofas. Fantastic shower room, good kitchen, (a few more mugs would be helpful.) Very quiet at night. Very helpful host, Anna who gave us tea and cake, let us use the internet in her apartment and gave us useful advice about Prague.

Janak appartment is a great place to stay. good size and good kitchen. The host couple are very nice people.

JANAK APPARTMENT THE PLACE IS GREAT. IT'S CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPED, AS IT IS BASICALLY NEW. IT IS ALSO WELL COMMUNICATED VIA TRAMS DURING DAY AND NIGHT. THE OWNER IS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I STRONGLY RECOMMED THIS PLACE. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.
