Hotel at the Green Grape welcomes you as a small boutique residence in the middle of the most beautiful and historical part of Prague. With the essence of a welcoming private residence, the Green Grape offers exclusive rooms set in the atmosphere of some of the great personalities of Prague history.
Several historical and architectonical books dedicate space to our hotel's building. The first records of the building date to the 17th century. Throughout the centuries the building has been rebuilt and reconstructed by several owners. Today, the building is considered unique because of its well-preserved wood-log renaissance interior.
The building also features several renaissance arched ceilings, beautifully painted baroque ceilings, classicist tile stove and a gothic cellar with a preserved well.
We offer eight unique suites and rooms, each dedicated to a significant personality of Prague history. Our guests can choose from the extraordinary composer Antonin Dvorak, opera diva Ema Destinnova, brilliant architects J.B. Santini and K.I. Dienzenhofer, era-defining artist Alfons Mucha, mystical astronomers Tycho de Brahe and Johannes Kepler, or famous writer Franz Kafka.
Each suite is furnished and decorated in a style consistent with its named personality. Our guests can enjoy reading Kafka's Process overlooking the Prague Castle panorama, admire renaissance styled furniture in Brahe's suite or listen to Destinnova's recordings while relaxing in the salon furniture once owned by her.
