Excellent hotel, would definitely recommend it to anyone going there. Central location, great parking facilities with a lock courtyard off the road. And excellent value for money (for Prague city centre).
One thing I found strange was that although one could smoke in pretty much the whole hotel (ashtrays provided in the corridors, etc.) all rooms were non-smoking. Would have been a little nicer stay for me as a smoker if I could have had a room to smoke in.
Excellent hotel, very clean and tidy and in a perfect location for seeing the sights in Prague-very central. Was also good value for money. The breakfast was ok. There were two bars in the hotel one was never open and the other one was very small. Overall though I would recommend this hotel.

Great location (airport to hotel in around 40 minutes - by bus 119 and then a few stops on Metro line A; Old Town Square literally minutes away; good access to Metro at Mustek). Good sized room (we had a deluxe double). Friendly & efficient staff. Free to use room safe. Decent breakfast. Very minor niggles - never saw the late night bar open (no big deal - but would have been good for a night cap - though we did have a mini-bar) and maybe tea/coffee making facilities would have been a bonus. Have recommended this place to friends & family already. Would certainly stay here again - planning a return trip soon. Ideal base and good value, we thought.

The Modra Ruze was perfect for our 3 day break and i have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to my friends and family. The location is absolutely the best for access to all areas. Service and rooms were excellent and the tariff really good. Food for breakfast was ok but the staff are very friendly and helpful. ATM right outside the door too. All in all a brilliant hotel fro a city break.

Very nice hotel, in a great location - everything in the city centre within walking distance. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms as described on the website, airy and light with lots of space in the luxury room which our friends had and perfectly adequate in our standard room. The bathrooms were smart and everything looked new. The breakfast wasn't as good as we have experienced in other cities - OK for the European taste of cold meats, cheese, etc. but the hot food, eggs. etc. not so good and usually lukewarm. Cereals OK and fresh whole fruit.

The Modra Ruze was excellently located for all the sites without having to up with the noise from the square. Very clean and spacious deluxe room with large bed and air conditioning and safe deposit box and TV. Good breakfast. Friendly polite staff who keep in the background so that you don't feel you are being monitored all the time like you do in English hotels. Reasonably priced and would recommend higly.

The hotel is in an excellent location to visit the main tourist sites, restaurants & shops. The rooms were clean- dissapointed that our two double rooms turned out to be twin rooms. Also no safe deposit box in rooms and none could be provided. Clean & comfortable. Breakfast ok. Bar closes early every night- not particularly well stocked- I drink Baileys or Drambuie- neither available.

Room was very clean and tidy, there was quite a selection of both hot and cold choices at breakfast.Very very handy for the Old Town. The only down side of this hotel was the bars were not open after 10pm - we never saw the Mississippians bar open.

very nice modern hotel.Good sized rooms.Very central for the old and new town areas.From a british point of view I would have liked tea making facilities in the room. A shower fixed to the wall instead of hand held would have been better but then again my wife liked the jaccuzzi!.We will use this hotel again

The Modra Ruze was perfect for our 3 day break and i have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to my friends and family. The location is absolutely the best for access to all areas. Service and rooms were excellent and the tariff really good. Food for breakfast was ok but the staff are very friendly and helpful. ATM right outside the door too. All in all a brilliant hotel fro a city break.

A lovely clean fresh hotel in a nice quiet street but a great central location.Room was comfortable with air conditioning and fridge with minibar. There was a great choice of delicious food for breakfast which st us up nicely for seeing the sights of Prague.

Hotel Modra Ruze is a wonderful hotel. Two blocks away from all the Important places in Prague yet in a quiet street. Extremely clean, great air conditioning, great breakfast and very nice staff. Will definitely return here when we come back to this enchanting city.

Very nice hotel, in a great location - everything in the city centre within walking distance. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms as described on the website, airy and light with lots of space in the luxury room which our friends had and perfectly adequate in our standard room. The bathrooms were smart and everything looked new. The breakfast wasn't as good as we have experienced in other cities - OK for the European taste of cold meats, cheese, etc. but the hot food, eggs. etc. not so good and usually lukewarm. Cereals OK and fresh whole fruit.

The Modra Ruze is perfectly situated in the heart of Prague with all attractions within a 10 to 15 minute walking distance. The hotel was clean & efficient, with friendly staff. The rooms were basic but clean and had all the necessary utilities to have a comfortable stay. I would not hesitiate to return to the Modra Ruze

The Modra Ruze was excellently located for all the sites without having to up with the noise from the square. Very clean and spacious deluxe room with large bed and air conditioning and safe deposit box and TV. Good breakfast. Friendly polite staff who keep in the background so that you don't feel you are being monitored all the time like you do in English hotels. Reasonably priced and would recommend higly.

The hotel is in an excellent location to visit the main tourist sites, restaurants & shops. The rooms were clean- dissapointed that our two double rooms turned out to be twin rooms. Also no safe deposit box in rooms and none could be provided. Clean & comfortable. Breakfast ok. Bar closes early every night- not particularly well stocked- I drink Baileys or Drambuie- neither available.

The hotel was ideally suited for all the relevant areas. It was clean and provided a good breakfast. Just to note that the standard double room comprised of twin beds, however these were very comfortable. There was no air conditioning and the rooms were quite warm. The room also lacked a safety deposit box.

THE MODRA RUZE IS VERY WELL LOCATED AND A NICE HOTEL WE WERE DISSAPOINTED THAT THE NIGHT BAR WAS NEVER OPEN OR THE READING ROOM,THE LOBBY BAR CLOSED AT 10PM PROMPT.WE HAVE HAD BETTER BREAKFASTS AT OTHER PRAGUE HOTELS AND WE WERE DISSAPOINTED THAT THE FIREPLACES MENTIONED WERE NEVER LIT! BUT THIS WOULD NOT PUT US OFF STAYING HERE AGAIN.

An ideally located hotel.
Very easy access to most historical sites, the cultural centres and 2 minutes from the estate theatre for the opera.
Very friendly and accommodating staff with clean/fresh and tatefully furnished rooms.
A more than adequate breakfast of a buffet style type.
I will certainly be returning and passing the details on to friends.
