Last time we booked a superior room that was large had a fridge but now a small room no fridge no shower hook and located near the containers. Noise from dogs and containers in the morning 06.30 is not my ideal of wakening during our holiday.

The room was super, breakfast at the first day also very good, second day lots of dirty dishes but luckily also clean ones. First day deskclerk very nice but very slow with computer.
Advisable to all: diner in the Restaurant really a 4 star Hotelrestaurant (if we were to give a Michelin star they would become one)and not only it was very good but also more than enough.

Hotel Michael er et lyst og venligt hotel, med meget kompetente personaler.Det ligger et meget roligt sted. Der vil hjælpe jer med alt i har brug for. Fin rengøring daglig, og OK morgenmad. Sporvognene kører direkte ind til centrum og ligeså til det Gule marked. Der er 5 - 10 min gang til sporvognene, fra hotellet.

Our stay in the Hotel Michael last week was very nice. We found the staff extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. The rooms we were allocated were comfortable, clean and well presented. Breakfast was very acceptable and also well presented. Meals in the restaurant were very good and reasonable priced with a varied menu and again the staff very good. Bar prices were comparable and service good. Being of the 'older' generation we did not find the walk to the local tram too far and indeed it was nice to have a pleasant stroll. We used the hotel courtesy transport which was excellent and especially welcome during our first two days until we got our bearings in the city. We really enjoyed our stay and extend our sincere thanks to all staff in the hotel for their helful and kind attention. We were given extra coathangers, pillows and directions without any problems and as we took a small ketlle with us able to obtain cups and teaspoons from restaurant to use in our rooms without any problme although we discovered it was easy to pop down to the restaurant as it opened at 7.00am and bring up a pot of tea to the room if you wished however a facility in the room to make a drink would certainly be a welcome bonus for visitors.

We stayed at the Hotel Michael which is approx 20 minutes from the New Town. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and tidy although lacking in any form or evening entertainment. The rooms were quite spacious but had no tea/coffee making facilities. Other than that we had a lovely stay and the staff were very nice and helpful.
