    Couples    		Hotel is unique and very stylish. It is located in a lovely area of Prague. Staff were helpful and courteous at all times. The service we received was fantastic. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival without request. The quality of this rather sumptuous hotel made our city break the romantic break we had hoped for. We will always stay here whenever we visit Prague in the future.

    Couples    		Tea and coffee making facilites in the room would have been a nice thought, even though we had breakfast in the room every morning, only thing that had cause for complaint was the beds (two single pushed together and single bedding used). Not some thing you would expect in a suite room.

    Family with children    		The breakfast can sligtly better, there were rarely enough crossaints for all the gasts. And maybe some more white bread,And some orangejuice. Under the beds it can be cleaner. But we wil tell our friends that this was a very good adres and a good location. We had 5 rooms, and the canopybeds were very hard, they other rooms and beds were nice. We were very satisfied!

    Family with children    		We really enjoyed this place and can recomend it to everyone. We have been at Prag for the first time, so it was a bit hard to find. Our accomodation was in the left side building of the 2 "Lobsters" and there we could not see any name of the hotel, so we went too far. Also the two housenumberes were not really helpful. Because of the one way road and the difficult way to find it again(in the darkness!)we asked a taxidriver to show us the way.

    N/A    		room great, lovely hotel, bit of a hike up a hill. we booked a taxi through your reception with a cab company called "Hotel transport, B-Taxi" for a fixed price of 450 czk which was a special offer for september, but found when we came to pay at the airport it was in fact 650 czk !! we feel the hotel may have used on of their taxi s and not the company we wanted them to phone for us. any feed back on this and a refund would be greatly received.

We were in the bulding in the opposite side but the room was still great. The location is particluarly amazing right near the castle. The staff were always friendly and helpful and left you to your own devices unless you needed any help. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Although we stayed in a less plush room than the last time, on the opposite side of the road, the room was still very good, and the staff polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is a bit odd (cooked mixed vegetables)but is ample. I would recommend this hotel,and the area in which it is located but if you have mobility problems, the walk up to it may cause you difficulties.

We had to wait 20 minutes when we arrived because the room was not ready and of course we had not the beautiful rooms showed on the site but anyway our room was not so bad and we had a real good time.     N/A    		Loved the green lobster, we had room 101 which was a deluxe room (one up from the standard) it was HUGE two bedroomed two bathroomed place fabulous! was a little noisy traffic wise on the sat niht but i am a light sleeper. bed was comfy and the location was excellent! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Prague! The breakfast buffet pastries are really good, like really really good so get down early and eat loads of them!!! we paid 119 and then 109 euros for our room averaging 114 a night although the final bill was taken in czech crowns which was ideal for us as the pound to crown rate is better than the pound to euro!

The room is like a royal chamber, and immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. Sufficient breakfast. Friendly and very informative staff. Lovely views up and down the hill. I've already recommended this hotel to our family, and we only returned two days ago!

We liked very much the location of the hotel and the room was very charming though the stairs are a bit unconvenient but it's also part of the charm of an old historical building I guess (there is a lift but we didn't use it!).     N/A    		My wife an I spent 4 nights in the Karel IV suite. No lift in the hotel but it's not a huge walk up the stairs. There was a kitchen in the room but no utensils so it's a bit pointless. Tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice. The staff were not very friendly and the first morning when we came down for breakfast 5 minutes before breakfast ended, they didn't seem too pleased. Lots of good cafes and restaurants on the streetespecially the Italian a few doors down, simply called 'Caffe Ristorante Italia' and the restaurant 'Three Violins'. Would definetly stay there again. Location is perfect.

    N/A    		We have just returned from a lovely few days at the Green Lobster and we were thrilled with our choice. We had a Double Deluxe room in the newer building - it was on the third floor (the lift is very slow so we chose to walk the 87 steps instead!) and was spacious, clean, had a ENORMOUS bed, lovely bath robes, nice toiletries and a great view over Petrin. OK, there's no tea and coffee making facilities, but so what? When in Prague....etc. Its a 'light touch' hotel - ie you don't really see any staff at all and you have a nice feeling of independence - but the staff over the road are very helpful if ever you need them. Breakfast is self-service continental buffet, but plenty of choice and again, no staff fussing around, which I prefer. The location is great - just right for the central sights, as long as you don't mind a bit of a hill-climb back to the hotel at night. Would definitely recommend to friends and would certainly stay there again if we returned to Prague.

    N/A    		Excellent location - easy walking distance to all the main sites, but out of the main tourist drag, so very quiet. It is a bit of an up hill climb back to the hotel, but well worth it. The area around the hotel is lovely, with the castle setting the backdrop, there are numberous local restaurants and bars which are cheaper and much better than many of the ones in and around the Old Town Square. The rooms are all individual and vary in size, but even the standard double we had was fine for the 3 night break. We did have one small problem with the reception staff not being able to find our theatre tickets which had been delivered to the hotel for the evening we arrived - a bit of hassle but the tickets were eventually found. Overall, a comfortable hotel which we would recommend, especially for the location and the quality of the rooms.

Would advise request particular rooms as ours had a double bed base with single matteress and single duvets. The room we received does no way live up to those advertised, even the pictures on this post are far superior. Breakfast good. DVD's a must item to bring. Lots of steps, even to the basement breakfast area. However Hotel downfalls didn't spoil our Holiday and Prague is a beautiful city and the people very welcoming.

Would stay in this location again, Castle just above the hotel, Charles Bridge/Old Town Square within 15 mins walk, excellent public transport system but even better use your feet you'll get such a better feel for the city.. We liked the breakfast, thought the choice (for a continential breakfast )was better than at most hotels. Initially bit disappointed with the room, our fault really we just assumed we would be getting one of the fabulous rooms pictured, but I haven't quite mastered on line booking.Take a radio etc ,lots of channels on the TV but only the BBC News or CNN News we could understand.

The coffee at breakfast was tepid and it was impossible to get freshly boiled water for tea as well. The staff were unable understand 'hot coffee' or anything thing else in the breakfast room. My Czech wasn't good enough from the phrase book. We would recommend the Green Lobster to friends but with this proviso - take your own kettle!

It was one of those sadly too infrequent instances where you get exactly what you hoped you had booked!     N/A    		Visiting Prague with friends to celebrate his sixtieth birthday. We were not disappointed! Hotel rooms in annex were each very different but both excellent. Sleeping in a four poster was a new experience and the panoramic views from our friends room at top of hotel were exceptional. Breakfast was very nice. The location we found to be excellent being so close to the castle allowed us to schedule our last day there and end visit on a high. Would go again, so long as am reasonably fit as hill is quite a climb.

    N/A    		Excellent accommodation, beautiful rooms and staff quite friendly. Was disappointed not to get the room we requested but we had the Karel room which was great anyway. The trek up the street is a killer as quite a hill but found a short cut about half way down which made it much easier. Was in a good area about 10 mins walk from the Charles Bridge which meant it wasn't teeming with tourists all the time. Definitely would stay there again.

    N/A    		Absolutely lovely accommodation at the Hotel Green Lobster. Immaculate rooms and very well equipped. Breakfast was enough to start the day. Would be good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room but this is a very minor concern. Will recommend to everyone I know.

    N/A    		I am hard to please but I have to say the accommodation was just fantastic. When I visit Prague again I will definitely book the Hotel Green Lobster. The interior of the hotel was just lovely. Next time I must book one of the four posters. I think that would be truly romantic.

    N/A    		This is a lovely hotel, with very well appointed rooms. Rooms on the front can be affected by noise from the street below if you have the windows open. The hotel is in a great location by the castle, although a bit of a walk up the steep hill of Nerudova. An alternative is to catch tram 22 or 23 to the top of the hill and walk down.

    N/A    		Excellent hotel. We stayed in the Mozart suite with the small terrace, wonderful views and room kept to the highest standard. Bathroom accessories replaced daily, didn't need my own. Staff helpful and friendly. Buffet breakfast enough to start the day. Would definitely stay at this hotel again, despite the steep climb every day.

    N/A    		Room excellent some tea/coffe making equipment would have been. Good kitchen area but no crockery or pans etc so why bother. Rooms very clean and comfy. Staff very friendly. Hot water for the tea not hot enough, but the rest of the buffet breakfast was adequate.
