We loved the Eurostar David. Modern, clean and great hood. It was VERY difficult to find from the train station where we arrived at Kobylisy, so it's worth it to have the hotel send clear instructions on which train or metro to take and mapquest the rest (you want CHARLES SQUARE metro, on the yellow line, or Karlovo namesti, and then walk towards the river. The street is one back from the river but a warning, NO person we asked knew where it was, so a map is vital. The hotel can send a taxi, don't take a street taxi, or take the 'nice' driver at the train station's offer. He turned into a snake when we said we'd take the train. Public taxi's an easy way to get ripped off.
Breakfast is terrific, The ONLY complaint about the hotel we had was the receptionists were gave bare minimum answers. We got into serious hot water when we asked our receptionist to book our bus for a three day conference in the Czech Highlands and she insisted we didn't need to book a bus ticket. Insisted we should show up at the bus station at FLORENC 1/2 an hr before the bus left. Unfortunately a bit of a nightmare situation ensued, as it was a long weekend and there was not a seat left for 2 days to our destination. Perseverance and tenacity won out but not before a few gray hairs were added to my head. Book ahead, plan ahead, get all tickets, pave the way for yourself, you'll be glad.

I was extremely impressed with the Eurostars David hotel - and so was my girlfriend. It was modern and clean. The staff friendly and helpful. It is located a short walk from King Charles bridge and about 100 metres from The Dancing House. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I've already recommended it to several friends.

The accomodationgs were very good. The hotel was very clean, professional, and curteous. It is in a quiet and safe part of town right next to both the river and the 'Fred and Ginger' building (which is not only nice to view, but close to the hotel. This is good because all Taxi drivers know where the Fred&Ginger building is by heart). It is about ten minutes walk to the nearest metro and Tesco, a little far if you're walking all day so plan ahead. There is a decently priced but good 24hr convenience store at the end of the block. A great art gallery right across the sreet at river's edge.
The breakfast offered is pretty good with attentive workers, make sure to check in and tell them your room number. Hotel is safe during after hours as they lock the front door, but there is an all night clerk who can unlock the door for you.
The rooms were great, clean, and modern. Bathroom was excellent (I'm a designer and have pretty high taste), clean, new, and in great working order. The tub is a little tall, but I guess that keeps the water off the floor.
There is only one public internet station, so choose our timing well or else you will be waiting in the lobby for a while.
No spa, just a sauna room for a couple of people only. Weight room was a little disapointing but clean and new.
Service is good. The all night Clerk was positive and willing to help, her enlish was not fluent but more than suffient. She called for a taxi for me one hour before pick-up... at 5:45am! The only down point of my travels.

place was absolutly amazing. was shocked how good it was from the moment we walked in. room had everything you needed, even a phone in the bathroom!
breakfast was equally as great. everything you can ask for from cereals, fruits to the typical fry.
it not situated too far away from town and is worth the walk as is far nicer than anything in town and its quiet.
hotel is close to bars which open later behind the theatre, always good to know
