However, we missed the access to the internet. For a couple going on vacation there is no benefit of having free WIFI in the room as we are not bringing a laptop with us.
This hotel is perfect in many ways: central location (our windows were overlooked Karlovs bridge),breakfast, clean, service is good. The only minor thing: shower curten is missing over bathtub. It was annoying.The rest is very good.
The hotel was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and had a great selection. The Certovka Hotel was spotless and clean. Excellent location - seriously next to everything worth seeing and everything was walking distance. The staff was very accommodating...I booked a double room, and the Hotel made a mistake and overbooked the double rooms. To make up for it, they gave us two single rooms, which was amazing! Both rooms were on the top floor overlooking the Charles Bridge. They charged us the same amount. Definitely care about their customers.

Our 2 night stay at Hotel Certovka Thursday to Saturday afternoon with another couple was a great break. The Hotel was lovely, clean, well positioned at the side of Charles Bridge and our room overlooked the canal and the bridge. The staff where very nice, communicated well and were very helpful. The most unfortunate part of the break was the fact workmen were replacing some cobbles on the bridge, across from the hotel, which started with the drill hammer at 7.30am each morning! As we were there to enjoy our time in Prague and see as much as possible we were up and dressed before they started! I would certainly recommend the hotel to friends and would definately stay there again should we return to Prague. With many thanks from the Haworth Party May 2008.

My Wife and I stayed three nights from 16.05.08 arriving in the evening of Friday. Check-in was painless, we dropped our bags in the room and made for the Old Town Square on the other side of Charles Bridge. We ate Goulash and sucked in the atmosphere for a couple of hours; priceless!
The position of the hotel is perfect for being in the prettiest area and fairly central to everything. The staff were always friendly and helpful, not pushy but were there for us when we needed them. The room was a good size comfortable and spotlessly clean. The furnishings were simple and in keeping with the style of the building. Their breakfast is continental with meats, cheeses and lovely breads; cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juices, fantastic coffee, choice of teas, and several choices of hot breakfast. We felt very comfortable in this hotel, the price paid was fair and would recommend people to stay here.

The reception could not have been more helpful, always ready to answer any question or book excursions. And a welcoming smile too. Have already recommended it to friends going there in Summer. So glad we didnt stay in some of the big impersonal hotels we saw elsewhere in the city. Really felt part of Prague at the Certovka.

This accommodation was excellent, Central and in a most beautiful location. Hotel was spotless clean and we arrived at 11am and check in was not until 2pm. This was not a problem our room was ready and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely and the selection of breads and cakes each morning. This hotel was excellent value.

Just returned from a three night stay at the Hotel Certovka. The Hotel was excellent from the moment we arrived. The position was perfect. The rooms functional, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were very good too. There were many excellent restaurants to choose from within 200 metres and would certainly recommend it to anyone as a great base from which to explore the delights of Prague. We have just returned from Prague and a four night stay at the Hotel Certovka. It is truly a little gem. It's location is excellent, nestling at the foot of the Charles Bridge in the heart of historical Prague. The breakfasts were enjoyed without fault and dinners were spent exploring the many romantic restuarants that weave themselves into the cobbled streets. The booking system was very efficient, hotel staff very pleasant and the service first class - it was sad to have to leave it all behind, the Hotel Certovka comes with our highest recommendation. We've spent three very enjoyable days in Prague recently and would recommend the hotel Certovka - a small hotel in one of the most beautiful locations in Prague - just below the Charles Bridge. It was wonderful to wake up to a view of the bridge while all was still quiet. Breakfast was indeed wonderful and the lack of a restuarant or bar was not a problem - indeed it meant you had to go and find some of the Czech hospitality which abounds all around the area. quiet hotel in the most convenient location - just below the Charles
Bridge. It's four star / high quality and the breakfast is first
class. Lack of a restaurant is not a problem because the hotel is
