However you can spend peaceful moments in a quiet atmosphere in the hotel itself. The building that houses the hotel was built in a classicist style at the turn of the century and was completely renovated in the past years. Thanks to that we can again admire the precise craftsmanship and the forms splendour of that period.

The hotel needs to address the spider problem. Our first night we killed 6 spiders, but one was about 3 centimeters...the biggest I have seen next to a tranachela....NO ONE FROM THE HOTEL WOULD HELP US WITH THIS PROBLEM. The night clerk said he couldn't leave the desk. The ceilings were 12 feet high. When we opened the window there was a nest of spiders at the top. Needless to say our first night was creepy. The same night clerk was rude and arrogant to my sister when she sought help getting our online airline tickets and airport transfers from WIZZ airline. Because of the German keyboard the entire computer experience was very frustrating. The female staff members were very accommodating, but hight clerk needs to be replaced. The taxi driver overcharged on our trip to the airport by 150 cronas. Needless to say he did not get a tip!

Solo travellers 6.3/10 Staff: 7 , Breakfast: 7 , Clean: 7 , Room: 5 , Value for money: 7 , Locality: 5 Single room was a bit small & cramped but clean & quiet. Bed was very soft which I didn't particularly like! But overall a good stay. Staff friendly. Free wifi very useful. A bit far out from the centre but did lots of tram hopping - a great way to see the city. Good value budget option if you don't mind the locality.

City traffic very good, subway next corner. Rooms a bit small. Breakfast OK. Staff friendly. Price according to value. Perfect for a moderate budget weekend trip.
