Brief Hotel Description

Hotel Černý slon (Black Elephant) is in the very heart of Prague, close to Staromestske namesti (the Old Town Square). The house itself dates back to the 14th century and is listed on the UNESCO heritage list. A comprehensive reconstruction turned the house into a comfortable hotel where history alive speaks to you.



Additional Information

The house Black Elephant in Prague city centre was built in accordance with historical archives of Prague in the years 1330 - 1340 in a gothic style. A unique roof truss is preserved in an original form here and it is one of the oldest in Prague and also in whole Czech Republic.
There are 16 rooms with every convenience and offering a view of the most beautiful Prague sights (the mediaeval Ungelt area built by emperor Charles IV) and the Týnský Church.

    Groups    		The location is ideal in the heart of the city. The rooms are tidy and have a special atmosphere due to old details such as wooden beams and pillars. A fun thing is that all the rooms are different in size and details. The staff was friendly and breakfast good. Only minus is the lack of elevator in a high building. That wasn't a problem for our group, though.


    ACCOMMODATION: You will pay at the reception desk of the chosen accomodation.

    TRANSFER: You will pay to the driver who will arrange the transfer for You.(cash in EUR)

    SIGHTSEEING: You will pay at the beginning of the tour.
