With friends | This is a great hotel. The suite we had was very large with a modern bathroom and full kitchen - great value for the money. The staff was wonderful - very friendly and helpful.
The location which was a short walk to the Charles Bridge was great as it was not as noisy as being near the Old Town Square. There were a number of restaurants nearby and a wonderful neighborhood wine bar. The breakfast was ok. Eggs never seemed to be hot but overall quite adequate. A minor issue was that the room we booked was not available the first night so we had to change rooms on the second night. The transfer services provided from the airport were excellent. All in all, I would highly recommenc the Prague Castle and would stay there again. |

Couples | Our stay at the hotel has been wonderful, as long as the coffee/tea machine in the breakfast room was switched on we had no problem in getting our own coffee for the room, although having this facility in the room would have made our stay perfect. The Castle view was just what I had ordered couldnt have been better. |

With friends | I just spent week in one of the executive suites and thought the hotel and staff was fantastic. The kitchen in the suite was much nicer than the one in my house. However, I'm not quite sure what the point of the kitchen is since there were no dishes. However, my friend was able to make use of the microwave for tea (the front desk supplied a cup). The breakfast was adequate. Something for everyone.
The location was perfect as many have stated. By the way Cafe Kaficko which is not farm from the Charles Bridge (on the Hotel side) makes fantastic espresso if the coffee at the Hotel doesn't work for you. |

Couples | The location was perfect for us (quiet area within walking distance or an easy Metro or tram ride to everything we wanted to see), and we loved having a view of the Castle. The room was a good size, well equipped, and very clean. We appreciated the free WiFi. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had enough variety that you didn't feel like you had to eat the same thing every morning (though I did have the delicious scrambled eggs every day!) We would have liked a coffee/tea pot in the room, as we are early risers. Would certainly recommend this hotel to others. |

Older couple | This is like an upmarket Travel Lodge except that there is no lounge or bar so you just have a room, reception area and breakfast room which is in the basement. The rooms were comfortable but we booked an executive room which was a lounge and a bed up some wooden steps. We decided that if we got up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night we could kill ourselves coming down the stairs as the toilet was on the lounge level. |

Limpieza, comodidad de dormitorios, amplitud de las habitaciones, buffet desayuno, localización sensacional (muy próxima al centro turístico, y suficientemente alejada de él -zona tranquila y residencial- para no sufrir inconvenientes de aglomeración.
El elogio sin crítica constructiva es menos creíble. Por esto, señalo que no existe climatización de habitaciones, en época de calor puede ser una molestia. La relación calidad precio la considero excelente, muy recomendable. Si volviese a Praga lo elegiría sin dudarlo. |

The breakfast was lovely, and as is said in all the other comments, the proximity to both the castle, charles bridge and old town is excellent. This hotel ticks all the boxes for a great, relaxing break. Our only complaint would be that our room on the fourth floor seemed to heat up and become really stuffy without any heating and this made it really difficult to sleep comfortably, and we both woke up feeling heavily dehydrated. |

Hotel was really quiet and spotless. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was nice but on two mornings of our three day stay there was no hot breakfast (scrambled egg) left even though there were quite a few people in the breakfast room at 9.50 am. Breakfast is advertised from 7.30 to 10.30. I asked could we have some but none arrived. So dont go down to breakfast late. Other than that we had a wonderful stay in the hotel and I would highly recommend it and will return some day. |

all hotel staff were splendid and professional from arranging excursions (trezin,river cruises/concerts etc - all with pickup transport from hotel)to 'storing' baggage for evening pickup to airport. the taxi collection service was spot on at airport and hotel.

N/A | Prague Castle hotel truly became a lifesaver for us. We just returned home yesterday from a trip that was to have ended 9-9-08. The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, perfectly situated and we loved it. They really won our hearts when, the day before we were to leave, my husband developed a lifethreatening condition requiring emergency surgery at a hospital 25 min. away. While he was in ICU, the staff pulled maps off the internet for me detailing the public transportation to the hospital (so I didn't have to pay the huge taxi costs), extended our reservations for as long as they could until the room was booked and then helped me relocate, and were so incredibly supportive in every way possible. They tried diligently to let me stay the entire stay with them but they were fully booked. Their support in a time when I was alone in a city where I didn't speak the language or know was way around really saved me. God Bless them. They will always be my hotel of choice in Prague. |

The staff were pleasnat and helpful. Especially great was the free pick-up at the station as a result of the number of nights we spent there.
I have only one comment, which is the installation of blinds on the sloping windows on the 5th floor. This would be a great asset in keeping the room darker in the morining.

N/A | My husband and I spent three nights at the Prague Castle hotel in late July and we were very pleased with its services. The suite was spacious, clean, and offered a great view of the Castle. The complimentary breakfast, which included cold cut, sausages, scrambled and soft boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, pastries, juices, hot beverages, far exceeded my expectattions. The staff was conscientious in replenishing the food and cleaning the tables, so the breakfast room was clean all the time and there was always plenty of food on the table. The staff, expecially Anna and Lanka, was extremely friendly and helpful. Its proximity to the Castle and public transportation was a big plus for us. I would recommend, however, that the hotel consider serving its breadkfast buffet at an earlier hour, say around 7am, as it would allow its guests to spend more time sight-seeing during the day. All in all, I would highly recommend the Prague Castle Hotel to anyone who are looking for a good deal in Prague. So, here's the stregnths and weaknesses of this hotel: great price, great location, great view, huge rooms, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast; weaknesses: small elevator, unique floor plan (support beams in suite on fifth floor, rustic, but might not be appreciated by everyone). All in all, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a comfortable lodging in Prague |

I stayed at the Prague St.Castle Hotel for 3 nights. When I arrived they did not have the Suite I had requested through this booking services. I had the sense that if I had booked direct I would have gotten the room I wanted. On the other hand, I found the accomodations excellent. The only problem was the suite they gave me was on the 1st floor and the tram noise was extremely loud. The suite was very clean and the people couldn't have been any nicer. I was meeting my son at the Hotel and he went to the wrong hotel and Richard, who I believe is the Manager, took me in his car to pick up my son. He could not have been any more accomodating or nicer. I thought the breakfast was excellent and it really is a super place to stay. Great location. |

i can not comment on the accomidations as when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. although i did have a conformation #. i had booked two double rooms for a week. i was told that the system had crashed and our reservation was lost. this seems strange as the hotel was full and had no rooms availibile. My reservation was for a reduced rate. of 120.euros per night. the only thing i can surmise is that they were able to rent these rooms at a higher rate for the same time period, so they conviently deleted my reservations and blamed it on a system crash. the reason i picked this hotel was for its convenient location as i had my 86 year old mother and 84 year old aunt with me. i thought we would have easy access to the city center and the old town sights and resturants and shopping. as it turns out the hotel staff tried to usher us out of the reception area so as not to have to deal with this situation in front of other customers. they quickly found us another hotel(to quickly in less than a minute) about a mile away up on a hill that over looked the city. (which was a nice view if you could see it from other than the breakfast room). this ment we had to spend more money on taxis. as my mother and aunt had trouble getting on and off the trams. It seems to me that the room was already pre booked, as we were ushered out of the hotel as quickly as possible. the taxi that brought us from the train station even waited. so this could be a normal occurence with this hotel. as for the accomodatons i don't know as i was not able to experience them. in the future i will have nothing to do with this hotel or the booking agency that i booked through. |

Breakfast was good, although the 'hot' plate wasnt always the warmest. Location of the hotel was perfect, quiet, yet still close to all the main attractions. It was a welcome sight to come down the steps of the castle and be in sight of our hotel lol. If I was being picky the one thing I missed was tea/coffee making facilities in the room, I like a cup of coffee before bed. We did ask on the first night and they opened the breakfast room for us to get coffee but it was locked normally. To keep this open for guests would be a welcome addition. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes a peaceful quiet stay close to all the major sights. |
