La Provence
In the small street of Štupartská, near the Old Town Square, you can find La Provence, a restaurant offering not only French, but also Italian and Spanish cuisine, especially great paella dishes. The interior is antique, with old wooden furniture, baby carriages from the 30s, red carpets and tablecloths and intimate candlelight. The Mediterranean atmosphere is accentuated by the air ventilators hanging from the ceiling, big palm trees and ever-present smell of garlic. Expect great meals, high prices and beautiful interior. A restaurant where you probably won’t meet a regular Prague citizen is a very luxurious venue despite its, shall we say, “alternative” design. )
