One of the oldest and probably the best known dance clubs in Prague is only a few steps away from I. P. Pavlov metro station. Its program ranges from disco to r’n’b, techno and house. The interior decoration changes from event to event, and the walls are repainted every year. The owners are American and are able to offer a the best Prague DJs, like residents Rico from Great Britain and famous r’n’b DJ Big J from the States. Radost FX has also hosted world famous spinners, most recently garage prodigy Artful Dodger.
The club’s atmosphere is sometimes compared to legendary London scene, and the clientele is truly multicultural and multinational with both Prague residents and tourists who usually don’t leave the capital before visiting Radost. Two lounges, a big stage, two bars and a large dance floor are great for both those who prefer to listen to the music and those who like to dance the night away. Prepare yourself for high prices, a beer can cost you around 50 crowns and cocktails go from 100 crowns up. The entrance fee to Saturday’s favorite party, Soultrain Weekender, playing both modern and olderl r’n’b, is 200 crowns, but ladies have free entrance till 11:30.
