Saint James Church

A beautiful Baroque church with a dark legend connected to it was formerly built in the 14th century with amazing Gothic altars by artists like Peter Brandl or Wenceslas Reiner. Left from the main entrance is hanging a mummified forearm that has been there for over four centuries as a warning. A legend says that it belonged to a thief, who was stopped from stealing by Virgin Mary who grabbed his arm and held onto it so tightly, that it had to be cut off.
