A palace formerly built in the 13th century had to undergo a Gothic reconstruction, but still has three of the best-preserved Romanesque-style rooms in Prague. Owned by the Lords of Kunstadt, George of Poděbrady, Czech king and diplomat lived here in the 15th century. That is why the palace offers a historical exhibition of George’s life and political background of his era.
