The atypical name for a church comes from the fact that the building used to be part of the Old Town’s fortification. Originally Romanesque, it was rebuilt in the Gothic style. However it is not its architecture that draws attention, but the fact that it was this church where communion in both kinds was first practiced during the Hussite Movement.
