National Museum

Apart from its obvious cultural meaning in the Prague history, it is also the architecture symbol of the 19th century . Its Pseudo-Renaissance style fronts the Wenceslas Square and is richly decorated by sculptures made by famous Czech artists. The interior is completed with paintings showing the high points of Czech history, similar to those in the National Theatre and created by the same artists. It hosts permanent exhibitions on archaeology, various cultures, mineralogy, paleontology and many other parts of the modern historical science.
