Prague New Town

Founded by Charles IV, the main conductor of the growing Prague city, it is twice the size of the Old Town, established especially for craftsmen and salesmen, leaving the Old Town to prominent citizens and students. Today, it is a modern area where offices and banks collide with shops and chaos of people rushing to their jobs, so it doesn’t attract the tourists quite as much as the Old Town with its exquisite architecture and an air of history.
