Lesser Town Square
The centre of life in the Lesser Town, it was first started as a market place. Today, it is one of the Prague’s cultural sites, with clubs, restaurants, music bars and pubs, attracting the young generation. The Town Hall, the Sternberg palace or the Baroque Kaiserstein Palace, where the Czech diva and the world’s famous soprano Ema Destinn lived, are just some of the interesting buildings situated on the square. But probably the most legitimate piece of architecture is the Saint Nicholas Church – a Baroque masterpiece according to the Italian style. USEFUL LINKS |
