Prague Picture Gallery

The gallery was created in 1965 to house the most important paintings of the 16th to 18th century period. The most beautiful art pieces come from the collection of Czech king and Habsburg Emperor, Rudolph II. Unfortunately, a large part of this collection has been taken to Vienna and another part stolen by the Swedish during the Thirty Year War. The gallery guards paintings like Titian’s “Toilet of a Young Lady” or Rubens’ “Assembly of the Olympic Gods” and is a perfect cultural experience for all tourists.
