A branch of Prague’s National Museum, it houses a collection on Czech history, including important documents, until 1848, when the Prague National Revival began. Its collection includes replicas of the Czech crown jewels and the sword of Jan Mydlář, who executed the protestant noblemen after the White Mountain battle in 1620.
